As of March 2015 this object is not show in the correct location. The Circle 8 Speedway is (was) located in Calgary Southeast, just south of Paigan Trail and just West of Stoney Trail.

I don't think it was ever a hotel. It was built in 1911 (according to it's historical designation) and functioned as an apartment building until conversion to office/retail in the early 1980's.
