When I was young there was also an aquarium located here. We went there at least once on an elementary school field trip.

Sears was Simpson Sears from the USA, notice what they do not have the education, to know North Hill and the word - center is their spelling, the Canadian spelling is: for - Northill & center is - centre. the USA has strict laws on abating asbestoes, Canada corp. exports billions of $ in asbestos therefore lie to Canadian citizens that it is not lethal and safe to remove. The size of a single asbestos fibre is from my research the measurement is similar to the individual Flu Virus. It is impossible to remove to abate (remove) the Flu virus and the same is true for the asbestos fibre(s), the males who lie are shooting a lethal loaded gun! Sears Northill is not removal and the architecture has so many memories! The persons who are fight to demolish are male & the hormone testosterone is only good for short bursts of energy, a very bad temper, and to be able to focus on one topic or one word only. The fathers of! sons tell them that the male is superior to female - is only an attitude, not science fact. and the Bible from Gensis to the New Testament educates us that female and male are equal The Country - Canada from west coast, Great north, east coast and to the Canada-US border Government run by businesses - Watergate in the US is Treason in Canada- individuals save The Sears in north Calgary by emergency linking arms in all areas of the country (Robert's Rules is a great teacher) to go after Liberal Law (bulling to dictatorship) to LIBERTY (DEMOCRACY). Link arms and stand up for Liberty

There is an outer circle of stones containing 15 stones and there's an inner circle of stones made up of 18 stones.
3 tall stones stand in the center along with another one that lies flat on the ground. two other stones are placed outside the outer ring, one is aligned with the flat stone in the center, the other appears quite red and barely sticks out of the ground 90 degrees from other.
Most of the stones are sandstone but some are granite.
There appears to be a ditch that surrounds the entire structure.
And finally there is a flat rock the lies in between the two stone rings and is 90 degrees from the innermost flat stone and 180 degrees from the red stone.

I have a old aerial photo that I believe is of Beddington under development (taken late '70s I believe), which shows the track just north of the split rock. Unfortunately I can't paste in to this post, but email me at brharris@shaw.ca and I'll send you a copy.
