This museum, now renamed The Military Museums of Alberta, is being greatly expanded in 2008. When complete, it will be a compendium of 7 museums displaying Canadian Forces history and heritage. It will include a relocated Naval Museum of Alberta (the largest Naval Museum in Canada), a newly created Air Force Museum, a 4,200 sq ft interactive Discovery Centre and a new 19,200 sq ft military history and strategic studies library and archives, an adjunct to the University of Calgary Library. The original galleries for the Calgary Highlanders, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, King's Own Calgary Regiment and Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) Regiment remain open, plus the Alberta Gallery. http://www.themilitarymuseums.ca/
